The LPs First Easter

Sunday morning, we got up, fed the LPs and watched church on TV. It was cold and rainy outside and very dreary. We watched Elevate Life Church out in Frisco and it was awesome. It was a production called "See" and it was about the resurrection. The boys even did a good job watching it with us.

We then opened the boys Easter baskets. Tutu and Papa sent the boys lots of superhero "capes" (bibs) that are too stinking cute. They also sent the LPs mini batman capes that I know they will live in when they're old enough to decide what they want to wear. Along with two books that they recorded so that Tutu and Papas voices are actually reading the book to the boys. I've never seen anything quite like it! It's so very cool! They then opened their gifts from Grammy and Grandpa. They sent lots of candy that daddy has really enjoyed eating for them along with cute little peep cookies that didn't quite make it here intact but taste good!  They also got the boys adorable pirate outfits along with two very sweet books and my first Easter bibs that they are sporting here:

We then played with the boys and put them down for a cat nap and started getting the house de cluttered. A photographer is coming Tuesday to take pictures and it will go on the market sometime next week. Eek! There's so much to do. I'm wishing I had had Hilda come Monday instead of Friday. I already have to clean my house again because of Nick coming in and out from the rain in his work boots. He really is doing an amazing job getting things spruced up. Our house looks like a completely new place. Please pray we sell it quickly. It's going to be very hard to keep it orderly with the boys and to get out of here in a timely fashion for realtors to show it. I'm extremely nervous about this and I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time at the mall or at the Katy Trail.

The day was spent feeding, playing, napping and decluttering. We got a lot done and after the boys went down it was time to throw back some much needed and deserved Velvet Taco.

Happy Easter LPs. We cannot wait to take you to church next year. Right now we are trying to keep you germ free while you build your immunity. We love you so much and we cannot wait to teach you the true meaning of Easter. He is RISEN!!!!!!!!
