Utah!

We recently came back from a one week stay in Cedar City/Bryce Canyon visiting the Jobs! It was an adventure and so much fun.

Nick, Brent, Aubrey, myself and the LPs showed up to the airport only to find out that our flight had been cancelled. Not delayed - but dunsko!!! Our good friend and neighbor, Brian, had dropped us off at the airport and luckily had not left yet. He waited for us while Nick tried to get us on another flight. No such luck. We packed everything back in the cars and headed back to the house.

Aubs and I went to a local winery and enjoyed a glass of vino while the LPs napped and the big boys tried to figure out the flight situation. We then headed to Aubs' favorite - Target! And boy am I glad we did. The one good thing that came out of waiting at the airport... I realized we for sure needed strollers!!!
2 umbrella strollers coming right up!!!

Cheers sissy!

Luckily, the LPs love their new "bikes"

Friday night we hung out with Brian and Morgan - grilling out and playing Cards Against Humanity while simultaneously consuming far too much wine and spirits. But hey, we were on vacation!

Saturday morning the alarm went off far too early for all of our liking but we maned up and hit the dusty trail.

We made it through security and had enough time to get the boys a bite to eat while I had a D list celebrity star sighting at Starbucks. I saw... Wait for it... Marie from the RHOD. I smiled at her and she looked at me like I was cray cray but I was excited!

We boarded our first Virgin America flight and two people had sat in our spots. So we took theirs in the back of the plane. We made it about 1/4 of the way through the flight before a sweet flight attendant informed us that we could not all sit in the same row. Boo to only 4 oxygen masks above. So, Nick took Knox and Pierce and I spread out since we now each had our own seat. Knox slept on Nick but P-man didn't sleep a wink. He flirted with the girl by the window and hopped in and out of my lap.

Packed up...again and ready to go!

We made it to Las Vegas where Nick and Brent had a rough time getting our rental car. They "lost" our reservation and then gave us a car the the carseats should not fit in. Needless to say, the hubster was none too pleased.

We finally hit the dusty trail and after 4 hours and lots of pit stops for gas and groceries, we finally made it to Bryce Canyon! Hallelujah!  Grammy and Grandpa were so excited to see the babies and so was everyone else. They had new trucks and coloring books and balls galore. They loved being outside and running around.

Fun with Grammy!

Sunday morning, I went horseback riding which was so much fun and so incredibly beautiful.

That afternoon we played with the LPs and then Grammy watched them while the boys went for a bike ride and Aubs and I went hiking. We ended up meeting up with the crazy mountain bikers at our hiking spot.

After freshening up and feeding the crew, it was time for some family bonding. And wine! Cheers!!!!

The next day was the Fourth of July! We went hiking again but this time it was an all day experience. Grammy and Grandpa even took the boys in their strollers! It wasn't exactly smooth terrain either. The LPs loved it!!

Stylin!

I believe we hiked over 5 miles and over 50 flights of stairs according to our phones! All of it was worth it for the incredible views. Our God sure knew what he was doing!

These are just a handful of pictures that we took and they don't give this area nearly enough justice. It was truly breathtaking.

After the LPs woke up from their nap, Nick and I attempted to take them swimming. That didn't go over too well. The pool was really crowded and extremely cold. We got in the hot tub (spa) for a while but the boys were being really fussy so we packed up and left. I did manage to snap a few pics though.

After the babies went down, we waited until it got dark, around 10, and were able to watch the fireworks from our camping spot. It was gorgeous and we all had a great time.

The next day, Grandpa, Nick, Susan, David and myself did a little hike and got our feet wet in the freezing water!

It was such a great and easy hike that we gathered most of the rest of the group and headed back out!

The LPs loved playing in the water and did pretty well in their "bikes"

Every evening, Keith and Noel pulled out all the stops and made us yummy dinners. We always ended the day with a little wine around the fire :)

Camping in style

We made it to Cedar! I absolutely love this pic!

We had a great time. We took out the ATVs and the LPs even joined us for a ride. Pierce loves it and kept making his car noise. They didn't want it to end!

Hot tubbing with Grammy

On the day we had to leave, we hiked the most incredible hike I've ever been on. These pictures do not do it justice

It was a long ride back to the airport in Vegas but we made it and enjoyed a cocktail before our flight began!

Thank you for such a great time Grammy and Grandpa. We love you!!!!
